I spend hours and hours online looking at pictures. This afternoon I have spent hours on this site!!! I am addicted. Imagine a virtual pin board for all those images that inspire you. A place to share and draw inspiration from others. Pinterest is that place! And you can follow and tag, just like facebook and twitter. I think this is a brilliant idea. We have been in our new home for a year and a half now,  Completely undesigned, I LOVE design, my second love after photography. I think I have good taste???… but I am completely paralyzed by the possibilities. I think Im so afraid of things not turning out perfectly, that I cant begin. Thankfully I have an amazing designer friend and colleague, Ms. Ashley Gilbreath. After spending some time with her in her beautiful store, Parish, this morning, we have a plan of attack. We are going to begin with my study. I am, as my friends will tell you a bit ADD. I say “creative”; either way, I have to have a quiet space to think, and this room will be my sanctuary. My request to Ashley…comfortable furniture, a reading chair with a place to put my feet up, a TV, and neutral tones.I will post a few before pictures soon, but for now I thought I would share some of the images I have collected over the years as my inspiration. (Sorry I couldn’t source these images, They have been in my inspiration file for years. I promise to do better going forward!)
