I have always wanted to live in a barn. It must be the country girl in me. Nothing too shabby about this barn dwelling from Garden & Gun. If you haven’t seen this magazine, find it. It is beautiful! The name doesn’t quite do it justice. It is a elegant, artistic magazine that does an amazing job of showcasing the south. Design, Food, and Travel.
This girls got style
I talked a bit in this post about what “I” believe makes an artist good. Since “good” is a matter of opinion, to me success is when you have a style that is your own. This commercial photographer, Stephanie Rausser, has “IT.” Take a look at her site and her body of work. It is cohesive. It is her “look”.
Even the commercials have her signature all over them.

One thing I love about being a photographer, is that it has taught me to notice and appreciate light. Something I would have never taken note of before. Love the light steaming through these windows. It’s a beautiful room too, don’t you think?
A little love
Valentines Day will be here before we know it and I will confess, my kids valentines for their school parties, are typically what’s left on Walmart or Targets shelf the night before. I really admire my mommy friends that have it together in this department (Kim, Sadie, Grayson, Charlotte) Soo…this year Im ahead of the game, and look what I found…

Yesterday
Couldn’t resist sharing this little cutie from her 6 month session yesterday, at the studio. I must admit 6 months is one of my favorite ages to shoot. So wide eyed, and innocent, and not mobile yet, haha, that helps.
